If you have a country home, cottage or any other type of rustic residence then you might be interested in some lighting ideas. One of the more popular types of lighting is the chandelier. While most people think of the chandelier as being too elegant for a country myha-1130472-11home there are actually many styles available that are perfect for that type of residence. There are several variations of wrought iron chandeliers that lend an air of the southwest to a room. These lighting fixtures can come with rawhide lampshades the compliment the rustic feel of the design.

You can also find antler chandeliers in a variety of styles. A deer antler chandelier also compliments a country home or cottage by bringing a woodsy yet warm feel to the room. Antler chandeliers can be made from deer, elk or moose antlers. You can choose from authentic antlers that have been shed from real animals or from faux antlers which are made to resemble the real thing. The antler chandeliers come in many different sizes depending on the type of antler used. You will want to browse through the types available to find one that fits with the size of your room.

Moose antler chandeliers are often quite large as the antlers themselves are a broader flatter antler than that of an elk or deer. A deer antler chandelier can actually be very delicate in its style if designed in a more flowing upward style rather than a rounder two-tiered style. The type of lights added to an antler chandelier can also create a more simplistic or delicate effect so the chandelier doesn’t overpower the room it’s in. Choosing the right type of bulb to compliment the chandelier can make all the difference in the type of lighting effect the chandelier has.

Fresh water aquariums can house both tropical fish and cold water fish depending on your choice with each group of fish possessing different requirements. Tropical fish consists of Tetras, Barbs, Danios, Rasboras, live bearers, Anabantoids and bottom dwelling fish such as Loaches and Corydoras.

Halogen lighting isn’t exactly a topic that most people discuss. I never heard of it before until I was sitting a friend’s house and I couldn’t get over the light. It is a little hard to put into words, but the light seemed to fill the room appropriately and it just felt warmer. And that was the first time that I heard about the halogen light. There are people that are in love this type of light, but most stores don’t really carry it anymore. I thought I could spend a little time talking to you about how the halogen bulb works because it is different than regular bulb.

The way that a regular bulb works is that it you have electricity go through a little metal piece. There is resistance in this metal and eventually it gets hot. It actually gets red hot and you have light that is formed.

Halogen is different because what you’re going to have is a chemical reaction, rather than heating up a piece of metal. The chemical reaction creates light, but it also creates heat. Basically you have a tungsten metal piece in the bulb and electricity will run through that. The tungsten will burn white. The only way it can burn is if there is an inert gas around it. There is a secondary reaction because when the tungsten burns, it creates a gas that reacts with the halogen gas and you get more inert gas. And it is the inert gas that allows the tungsten to burn.
